Our Beliefs

We Believe The Bible God's Holy Word, divinely inspired, having supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Psalm 138:2.

God three persons in one being- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, only by faith in Him can one be reconciled unto God. Born of a virgin 100% God and 100% man.  He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, and was raised from the dead by the Father, being declared righteous, providing victory over sin and death and empowering us for life. Matthew 3:17, Romans 5:1, Isaiah 7:14, Romans 1:4.

We believe Satan is the defeated enemy of God and His people. Colossians 2:15.

Mankind, due to the fall are by nature born sinners, but that because "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him Should not perish but have everlasting life," that those who believe and put their trust in the sacrifice of Christ as their Lord and Savior are declared righteous in the sight of God and can rejoice forever in the presence of God. John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 517,21.

Salvation is a gift of God to mankind independent of his own efforts and good works.  Only by believing and receiving Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved. Romans 10:9-10, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8.

God's will for every believer to be healthy, whole and prosperous in all areas of life, made manifest in the life of every believer as they grow in the knowledge of their identity in Christ, their right standing with God, and are convinced of His love. 3 John 2.

The church is a life-breeding organism and that as believers meet together regularly for fellowship, corporate worship and the "breaking of bread," they will continually grow and function as the body of Christ and make a difference in this world. Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 5:19.

Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts and empowers us for life and service.  We believe speaking in other tongues is also an amazing gift of the Holy Spirit to all believers and is the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4.

Communion is a unique time in observance and remembrance of the sacrifice and finished work of Jesus Christ and of our new covenant of grace. 1 Corinthians 11:25-26.

Water baptism by immersion serves as public witness before all of our love, devotion, commitment to and union with Jesus Christ. Romans 6:5.

We believe that Jesus will once again establish His kingdom on earth and reign with all His believers. Revelation 21:1,2.
